McDonald's Västerås Skrapan

Absolutly the nastiest McD I have been to. Every surface is sticky and the staff is idle. Took long for every meal and none was working the lobby. The uncleand steel bathrooms doesn't help.

I visited this McDonald’s in Västerås on holiday and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. Their ordering system was clearly not working properly — after placing an order and receiving a receipt with a number, the staff would immediately clear the display screen. This meant customers were left confused and had no idea when their food would be ready.nnI ordered ice creams and waited patiently, only to find the staff made the order twice. When I politely tried to clarify the situation in English, I was met with rudeness and hostility. A female staff member working around 7 PM on 11/07 was especially unprofessional, insisting I speak Swedish which I don’t speak and dismissing my attempt to communicate. I was genuinely shocked by how I was spoken to — she called me rude while I was simply trying to explain the situation calmly.nnThis level of attitude and disrespect is completely unacceptable, especially at a global franchise that should be welcoming to international customers. I won’t be returning, and I strongly urge others to consider their treatment of customers here before visiting.

Doesn’t matter what time you come in, the restaurant is always incredibly dirty. Not just tables floor is discussing. It is worth the drive to go to any other location avoid if possible.

A good option for Gluten-free! I have never had a Big Mac because in the USA there is no GF option. It wasn’t a gourmet meal, but it did meet my expectations. The wrapper on the sandwich had clear words “gluten free bun” so you know they didn’t make a mistake.

Had food from McDonald's on 13 October 2024, the atmosphere was terrific, food was delayed, burgers were hard and dry, the serving plate was wet and the ketchup pump was not working. The worst experience in McDonald's outlet that too in the Västerås city centre. Hope the management will look into it sooner to resolve the issue and bring in the real quality and experience from the real McDonald's.
