A very beautiful and well-kept cemetery with various rooms such as a memorial garden, ash burial ground and a grave cairn.
Boring in there.
The current church in Mörrum is not the first church in the area. Not much is known about the first church, but it was probably a wooden church built in the 11th century and a grey stone church was built in the 13th century. Its plan cannot be determined with certainty, but it probably consisted of a rectangular nave with a narrower straight-ended chancel. In the 18th century, it is known that the walls were plastered on the outside.nnDuring the 18th and 19th centuries, the church was extended, rebuilt and also got a church tower. This church was consecrated on October 17, 1847 and the people of Mörrum got a fine church that they were very pleased with. After this, the church has of course undergone further changes, improvements and major maintenance repairs. Among other things, the current limestone floor was laid in 1970 when an extensive renovation was carried out. The church was then closed and services were held in the parish hall.nnOn January 6, 2008, the church was reopened after being closed for a number of months for repairs. During these months, the church room was repainted, another staircase was opened up to the gallery, and the roof was refreshed. Unfortunately, uninvited guests took the opportunity to enter the church, destroy the crucifix, and throw it into the Mörrum River. However, it was found in the reeds after a couple of days, and after extensive restoration, it was hung back in place in the church.nnSource: Swedish Church
