The Nobel Prize Museum is a truly engaging and educational place to visitnIt takes you through the history of the Nobel Prize and highlights the extraordinary accomplishments of Nobel laureates With its interactive displays and inspiring stories of science, literature, and peace, the museum demonstrates how these achievements have had a lasting impact on the world. I strongly recommend visiting the museum, as it offers both valuable insights and a great source of inspiration.
This was a well priced museum with good information about Nobel himself, the different award winners, and the process of choosing the recipients. My only complaint was that upon walking in and paying, all the desk staff does is take your payment and send you on your way. It is not obvious where to start/in what order, no info on coat check or WC. Found the lockers/coat check/WC myself though. My favorite part were the series of short videos with interviews with recipients talking about the impact they had and what led to the award. Cool gift shop as well.
A museum dedicated to humanity’s greatest thinkers, inventors and world changers. Meanwhile I was inside realizing my biggest achievement recently was probably finding the correct train platform without panicking.nnLocated at Stortorget in Gamla Stan, the museum celebrates the legacy of Alfred Nobel and the remarkable individuals who shaped science, literature, peace and humanity itself. The exhibits were surprisingly engaging, making complicated discoveries feel accessible even for ordinary visitors whose daily scientific contribution is successfully reheating leftovers.nnLoved how the museum mixed history, creativity and inspiration without feeling overly serious or pretentious. You walk through stories of brilliant minds and slowly start questioning your own life choices in a strangely motivational way.nnCompact, thoughtful and genuinely worth visiting. Also probably one of the few places where every room casually contains more collective intelligence than most internet comment sections combined.
The Nobel Prize Museum is absolutely fascinating and incredibly informative. It offers a captivating journey through the history of the Nobel Prize and the remarkable achievements of its laureates. From interactive exhibits to inspiring stories of innovation, peace, and discovery, the museum brilliantly showcases how these groundbreaking contributions have shaped our world. I highly recommend visiting not only for the rich knowledge you'll gain but also for the inspiration it sparks.
Incredible museum to go through. It was very interesting to see the artifacts from the different people who have received the award. There is a small cafe as well and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. There is an accessible entrance in the back of the building you can use a doorbell to get in.
