Ockelbo Camping

This is the best camping ground we have had bike touring in Europe. It is not a resort but there is a dedicated space for just tents in green grass that is right next to the lake. The staff and campers were extremely friendly and very helpful. The receptionist showed us to the site and explained the recycling system and all about the facilities.nThe service facilities are top class with plenty of toilets and showers and they are exceptionally clean in a warm building. You must take off your shoes after entering, which means there is no mud or grass in the showers!nThey have a well equipped kitchen which really suited us as we were in a tent. The dining area is large and with a TV.

Nice staff and very friendly price, caravan with electricity 250SEK. Lot of seasonal residents, but definetely a safe place.

Great camping in Ockelbo. We have been coming here for a couple of years. Sanitary is great and you can use their boat or canoe for free. Fishing is also allowed.

This place is sparkling clean and provides everything you might need at a very reasonable price. Beautiful area and super calm with friendly staff. They offer guests kanot and life vests free of charge, so you can enjoy exploring the lake and have a swim on the other side of you wish. Warmly recommended.

Best host ever! Nice people, quiet place and very, very clean. Recommended for anyone who loves camping at the best.
