Siljansbadets Camping

We came for one night. The receptionist Elin was really nice, patient and helpful! We are really happy with our staying! Everything is really nice, clean and comfortable in our cabin! And the beach by this camping place is very beautiful and cozy!

Bathrooms and wc are terrible, for such a price not worth it. At night can be heard loud music from the bar nearby, also cars near playing loud music and burnouting. The only good thing is nature, which is not the merit of campsite.

We rented a cottage with attached washroom and shower, hence, cannot comment about the service house quality.nPros:n- Location is of utmost convenience. Close to train station, centrum.n- Semi-private beach. Note it didn't seem shallow enough to allow kids.n- A small playground available for kids. There is an activity hall but it was closed when we visited.nnCons:n- Cottages are cramped. I have stayed at better, larger cottages for lesser price and with better views. They can at least provide more utensils.n- They need to pay more attention to the cleanliness. The cottage we rented wasn't thoroughly cleaned beneath the beds, the doormat was soiled.n- They have allocated too many places for the caravans and campers. This might overwhelm the site during the peak season, and kind of blocks the lake view for the cottages which the customers rent for a much higher price.n- While I understand that we went just before the high season commences, they should have cleaned the beach of aquatic plant deposits. It was too messy to feel pleasant.n- While Sweden has allemänsrätt, they should try fencing the campsite. I noticed noisy and drunk youngsters barging in the service roomsthey somehow had the code around 0200 hours at least twice.nnOverall, if you wish to be close to the Rättvik centrum, rent a place here. If you need a more pleasant camping experience, try other places.

One of the highlights of Rättvik First Camp is its stunning location. Situated amidst picturesque landscapes, including lush forests and sparkling lakes, the campground provides a tranquil setting that allows visitors to unwind and connect with nature. The breathtaking views and fresh air create an immediate sense of relaxation and tranquility.

We have stayed at this camping in June 2020. It was the views to the water, close beach and very calm and nice environment that convinced us. The place is great for families with kids because of a very shallow water, for active people because of summer roden from mountain. Definitely recommending it!
