Orient Food

It is a very large grocery store with not all but mostly all items. I noticed that the majority of the customers were non Swedish. Some of the items were a bit expensive, like the toiletries, detergents, soft drink cans, and most surprisingly milk.nIn such a big store, I recommend some staff who can help customers find the right product and guide them to the exact location. In my case, I was lucky to find a friend who has been a frequent visitor at Orient Food. Even was having difficulty in finding the right product because only a handful had a description in English rest had in Arabic or Swedish even Thi.nOtherwise, in the fruit and vegetable section, I found it a little bit cheap, and then the quality was not that good of some items.nChicken was cheaper, but they refused to cut it into pieces for me so I had to buy it from somewhere else.

Good store with lots of Arabic, Turkish and Balkan products. The fresh fruits and veggie section is not as good as at Abdo's but still a good store, hence why 4/5 stars. Also, did not have to double check the receipt, which is a bonus.

Everything is good but the meat area is not doing well. On Tuesday, one person is working alone. There is a wait of an hour and the person who is working there has a microphone in his ears, headphones on, listening to the phone, not talking to anyone properly, working on his own.

The vegetables are somtimes good, sometimes not, they have mostly the vegetables I need which I don’t find in other swedish supermarkets, with fair prices.nMost negative part is the cashiers who are not behaving nice most of the time, which makes me avoid shopping there if I don’t need something specific.

The place is a bit crazy and crowded, I won’t lie, but if you like Middle Eastern foods, this is the place for you. They have meats and chicken at great prices. They also have a lovely bakery with lots of delicious sweet and pastries. Between Orient Food and Lucu Food we are set with all the yummy food we enjoy!!!nnEdit: I take back the beef and chicken comment. I won’t buy those there anymore. We do, however, buy beef bones to make beef stock and tallow.
