Österby Restaurang & Glassbar

Nice restaurant in a small village. Menu changes daily, with onky a few choices. At dinner, it was expensive for the portion with no salad or bread, but it was prepared well.

While visiting dear relatives, we visited Österby restaurant and ice cream parlor in the glorious sunshine. The restaurant has several dining room environments for its guests to choose from. We chose to sit in the pleasant indoor lounge, as the outdoor seating was packed with guests. The different environments are a fun concept, which is certainly appreciated. The friendly staff welcomed us, and we chose from a wide selection of flavors of ice cream. I chose ice cream in a waffle, and my company in a glass. The ice cream was tasty and had a nice texture. My company was satisfied with their flavor combinations, and told us that they had enjoyed a pleasant dinner at the restaurant some time ago in one of the theme environments. My impression of the restaurant is positive and we will be happy to return on another occasion, perhaps to try the menu.

The ice cream parlor is located in the center of Österbybruk with good parking. I have always been satisfied with the food and ice cream when I have been there. Friendly staff and a small patio.
