Österby Restaurang & Glassbar

Visiting dear relatives, we visited Österby restaurant and ice cream bar in the brilliant sunshine. The restaurant has several dining environments for its guests to choose from. We chose to sit in the cozy lounge indoors, as the outdoor dining area was packed with guests. The different environments are a fun concept, which is sure to be appreciated. The friendly staff welcomed us, and we chose from a wide selection of ice cream flavors. I chose ice cream in a waffle, and my company in a glass. The ice cream was tasty and had a nice texture. My party was satisfied with their flavor combinations, and told me that they enjoyed a pleasant dinner at the restaurant some time ago in one of the themed environments. My impression of the restaurant is positive and we will be happy to return on another occasion, perhaps to try the menu.

The ice cream bar is located in the center of Österbybruk with good parking facilities. I have always been satisfied with the food and ice cream when I have been there. Nice staff and a small patio.

Hi Lotta, We have our own atmosphere and our own prices and have no ambition whatsoever to compare ourselves to trendy places in Stockholm. However, we of course want you as a customer to always feel that we do everything we can to make you satisfied, that's enough for us. I can only regret that we have apparently missed you grossly. The next time you pass by, we will be happy to offer you ice cream and coffee as compensation. I, as the owner of the ice cream parlor, would be very grateful if you directly tell the person serving you that you expected better. It gives the person concerned a chance to improve. You are doing both me and the other staff a favour. Those who really strive to do their best, then they need not be disappointed and lose the joy of doing a good job.

An incredibly pleasant surprise on a hike along the Upplandsleden. Very nice staff, nice environment and not least both good, well-prepared food and fantastic ice cream. We ate salmon and a steak roll and both were really delicious :. Highly recommended!
