Osterlen Chocolate - Factory & Shop

Small chocolate factory. You can see chocolate production only in working days. It is cozy, chocolate is good. Some of the chocolate goods on the exhibition have expired. Someone should take care of this.

Very nice staff. Lovely old school house. Reasonably good amount of parking. Wheelchair ramp on the side. Nice little cafe with chocolate cake galore. Was surprised how little of the making you could actually see and I would have also thought there would be more products to buy. Prices were steep but that's to be expected. Our cakes were yummy but not out of this world. The chocolate was really nice but I am no chocolate expert. Is it worth a visit? Absolutely. Will you leave with loads of chocolate? No. A little chocolate? Yes!

The chocolate they make is very delicious. And the coffee is absolutely the best filter coffee in the neighbourhood!

Excellent chocolate, with a lot of variation and choices. The quality is very high, and it reflects the price, but in the end you pay what you get : The building is also quite cool, as it was the old school of the village and they have really nice furniture and world maps that somehow remind of a school. It is also nice that you can watch the production from transparent doors and can sit and have a picnic in the garden. It is indeed worth a detour if you are around.
