Great place to stay, it head everything such a hotel should have. Room had plenty of space, great view of the crowd down bellow. Clean and fresh. The bar was nice but closed early. I liked the sofa but had no time to use it, though. TV had additional input available for your own devices.
Amazing Hotel with a beautiful view over the whole city and close to everything. Service is also kind and overall just a recommended hotel by me. Especially if you like to be close to stores and the very pretty old town.
Great view, but technical issues and choices subtracts from the overall experience.nOne of three elevators was not functioning, and during rush hour a second one was out of service, leaving only 1 elevator for the entire hotel to use. No stairs available unless for an emergency.nBreakfast time needs to be booked in advance, and we had to choose between 8.05 or 10 - no options in between. While I understand a need for some planning to ensure a good service, it seems that Scandic have planned with a breakfast area that is too small compared to the amount of rooms, and now pushes that issue to the customers. A huge queue developed when waiting for being showed to a table, with staff trying to place people as efficient as possible. If I have to stay here again, I will - despite a fine selection on the breakfast buffet - choose to eat breakfast somewhere else.
Great views and very friendly reception staff. Nice big breakfast buffet but crowded, and decent lobby restaurant / bar closed Sundays but reception take over as mini bar. Speaking of, no mini bar or fridge in room, nor any tea making facilities and a bit dated room design. Functional and clean though.
Great place! Affordable and the location is the best! Right next to the shopping centre, two minute walk from the train station and right into middle of the city. Lovely views of the city and Turning Torso from the room. Breakfast is to die for and very considerate in the sense that I have never seen a whole section dedicated for people who require a breakfast that is gluten and lactose free. Would definitely stay again soon
