Two issues in one stay:nRipped-off with extra charge for early check-in at arrival. Arrived at 14:30, assigned room was vacant and had already been cleaned, but we had to pay 150SEK to check in, or wait until 16:00. They would rather have the room sit empty for another 90 minutes and, presumably have us stand in line with all the other arriving guests for that day. Completely different from our typical hotel experience.nIssue two: Requested cleaning a day prior for the 2nd day of our stay a Tuesday. When we returned around 16:00 it had not been touched. The front desk claimed it was still scheduled to be cleaned - really?? What had their staff done all day? We helped ourselves to fresh towels from a cart in the hallway and told them to forget it. It’s bad enough hotels haven’t brought back automatic room cleaning post Covid, but when they can’t manage it in a reasonable time when requested, what are we supposed to think about their dedication to service?
We had a nice stay in this hotel but the room could’ve been a bit better.nnWe have gotten the superior room as it was on a better floor and had a bathtub but unfortunately the bathtub couldn’t be properly used as the drain plug didn’t work, as well as most of the bathroom toiletries were close to ending or have finished. There were also fingerprints left all over the magnifying mirror.nnThe room was quite dusty, which was a bit unpleasant and housekeeping didn’t check up on the room as informed on the brochure left in the hotel room.nnThe breakfast was also very odd as we had to book in a time for the buffet, and when we arrived, it was packed.nnI wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately as there are better hotels out there for the same price.
Strategically located at the busy shopping area of Triangle, 4min walk to/from the station. The view of Malmö from the 20th floor gym is nice. Good breakfast. I got a wheel chair room for some reason but it was ok.
Hotel is totally ok and food at restaurant good.nBut be aware that the parking area has a height limit of 2.0 meters! And the sign ist after entering nNext parking for higher cars behind the Opera.
This was the last time we came here. Inflexible check-in at 16h is way too late. Wrong attitude for charging extra for slightly earlier check-in.nDon't expect to have a quiet breakfast here, they expect you to finish in 45 minutes.nOn the positive side: breakfast remains excellent and the breakfast room looks cleaner than in the past.
