All in all a disappointing stay. It was not clear during booking the room that the hotel is unstaffed during the evening/night. The groundfloor rooms facing the courtyard felt very unsafe to me, especially after reading that previous guests have expeinced break-ins. When I arrived at check-in time 3 PM, there was a 45 minute wait before the room was ready. I had even sent a message prior to arriving informing the hotel of my arrival time. A message I never got a response to.
This is a fantastic hotel. Clean, modern rooms that are quiet and safe. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in a room with a kitchenette.nnBreakfast is included. Breakfast buffet includes breads, fruit, cured meats, bacon, fresh vegetables, cheeses, cereal, overnight oats, orange juice, coffee, etc. While the breakfast menu was the same each day except for Saturday, which added pancakes, the food was fresh and tasty.nnThe hotel is also only a few minutes walk from a great supermarket called Hemköp and a Systembolaget beer, wine and liqueur store, which is the only shop where you can buy drinks with more than 3.5% alcohol.nnThe hotel is also only a few minutes walk from Triangeln underground train station, which will take you to/from Copenhagen as well as many Swedish towns such as Ystad, Lund, and Helsingborg.nnThe More Hotel staff were wonderful - very polite and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's a great value.
Family of three, stayed one night in studio apartment, which was very large, we where pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, very friendly and approachable. Great breakfast. Parking must be reserved in advance.
This is the 4th time we have used the hotel and it didn't disappoint. It has a relaxed atmosphere that feels really homely.
Unfortunately our room on the first floor was broken in to by, what seems to be local junkies. Same thing happened to another guest same night. Hotel says they have to have entered through the window which we never opened. Reception was closed and no staff on site. We had to call the police ourselves.nRooms face a quiet courtyard with little security according to the officers that came. Still hotel takes no responsibility which is a shame. All in all, not the best option for a safe stay in Malmö. Would recommend you find a staffed hotel with better safety.
