Skärets Krog & Café

Skärers Krog & Café is a nice café and restaurant. It’s open early for breakfast, has great sandwiches, bakery products, and good coffee. In the evening, the restaurant serves excellent sea food and other options. The wine selection is pretty good. During the summer season we dined in the restaurant upstairs several times and it was very nice experience both in terms of the atmosphere and the food. They also serve dinner downstairs but the interior is not as nice as upstairs. The breakfast is excellent as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. For dinner, we recommend making reservations as this is a popular venue during high season.

Great place for lunch if visiting this cute seaside town in western Sweden. Famous for the summer activity and all the visiting boats. Good Swedish food and plenty of seating to watch the world go by. Try the Herring if on special. Very tasty.

The meals are excellent, but you wont get satisfied with the quantity, so you have to order some extras like pommes frits and sallads. Anyway the taste and atmosphere are great!

Skärets Krog is situated in the beautiful idyllic setting that surrounds Smögen. High-quality food with friendly staff. I can warmly recommend this restaurant.

During nice weather this is an excellent place to have a breakfast.nAs I’m fond of shrimp sandwiches this is a perfect breakfast combination for me.nThey have a variety of different sandwiches and the dishes.
