Super hotel! We were here for 7 nights and our stay was perfect. The receptionist was super nice, she informed us about everything and she even allowed us to do an early checkin and a late checkout since our train departed late at night. The hotel is small but located in the centre of Örnsköldsvik, you can comfortably walk to the main street or to the hockey arena. Also, breakfast was amazing!! Me and my colleague were always looking forward to breakfast time. Thank you to the staff for being so nice, I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to anyone willing to travel to Örnsköldsvik.
We had a really great stay, the staff were all very nice and helpful, and the breakfast had everything you might wish for. There were also lots of nice additional touches: homemade cake for guests in the afternoon, coffee and tea available around the clock, sauna, lovely roof terrace, and games/books to borrow.nCertainly value for money, highly recommended.
after a 12+ hour ride we were really exhausted and were searching for a hotel that would still take us in. luckily the city strand hotel had some space for us. we arrived at 6:30 and just needed a place to sleep. the rooms are really nice and clean, fresh towels, fresh bedding. the really nice lady at the reception even prepared some little lunch boxes for us to take on the way after we woke up again. overall a very warm and welcoming experience. i would totally recommend a stay at this hotel!!
We had a very nice stay here. This hotel saved our trip to Finland. Our rooms were very cozy and warm and it was possible to check in spontaneously at 6AM. Fair prices and even breakfast is included.nThanks for the stay!
Be aware and read the reviews! Atrocious customer service which showed no consideration for their guests . Their solution was to deal with the booking site directly and they refused to speak English even though they run a hotel. The one good thing that happened is that our booking service moved us to a different hotel and saved us from a more horrible experience .
