Svanesunds badplats

Wonderful place. Wheelchair ramp into the water. Several places to get down and out of the water by stairs, ladders, or wading in from the shore. An outdoor shower is available at the wheelchair ramp. Service building that is open most of the summer. There you can buy ice cream etc. Toilets are available. Even one that has a shower. There is plenty of parking spaces.

Nice swimming area with 2 piers and a bit to jump from. The water is so nice. There is an ice cream kiosk and toilets. The toilets are not very well maintained and there is a lack of toilet paper. Overall a good place. Lots of people.

Was here during the Svanesund Festival. Nice set up and good atmosphere.

Choice of lying on the lawn, beach or rocks. The bottom is a bit loose and murky in a couple of places at the far end where it is shallow. Better at the jetty, where there are stairs, ladders, a disabled ramp and two diving towers of different heights to get into the water. Dilapidated parking, lots of garbage and flies by the toilet which smells unpleasant from outside.

Good swimming area with both rocks, sandy beach and piers with ladders.
