One of the well-known restaurants in Stockholm, it was recommended by a local Swedish. We showed up around 7:30 pm and it was packed, but luckily managed to grab the last available table.nnWe tried a couple of local dishes. The herring was really impressive, great flavors and nice combinations in each serving. The perch was also delicious, full of flavor, and the sauce paired perfectly with the fish.nnI’d definitely recommend booking a table ahead of time to avoid waiting in line. The service was great, and the atmosphere was just as good.

A great establishment for Swedish classics not to be missed. Tennstopet feels like stepping back in time, with gracious service and even better food. It’s a place we always bring guests to when they visit Stockholm. My favourite spot for Swedish meatballs, Biff Rydberg & råraka!

This place rocks! It’s one of the oldest restaurants and serves traditional food that is hard to beat in Stockholm. Great vibes and atmosphere and a lovely staff always makes you feel at home and comfortable. Delicious food, great drinks it’s a must visit if you come to Stockholm!!

Great spot in Stockholm! Good food and service was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting that wants traditional Swedish dish options. Location was outside of a busy area, which was nice to see new scenery just outside the tourist areas and is still walkable

As per local advice, we had dinner here and everything was perfect.nAs others have stated, things are done here as it should be : stylish decor, discrete but great service and really great food. The four of us loved it.nSpecial mention for the elk, which we cannot eat where we live and which was really exquisite.nThe apple cake is probably the best I ever had.nWe can only recommend.
