The Dalsland Experience

We can for sure recommend renting gravelbikes from The Dalsland Experience! Erik is very friendly and helpful. He provided us with two almost brand new gravelbikes, which we used to explore Dalsland during three day trips. With Erik's route suggestions it's also easy to get around if you have a GPS device with you. If you're not afraid of some hours in the saddle, we would recommend the 'Rolling hills in the north' route. Very beautiful!

I am a 61 year old woman from the Uk, on holiday in Dalsland with my husband.nI love cycling but my husband unfortunately can’t anymore although Eric tried to make it work.nI found Dalsland experience online and from communication to the finish it was a wonderful experience.nA great e-bike was delivered at our holiday place, bag, helmet, lock included. Eric helped me to set me off and thought about a nice route for me to ride with a lovely meeting point at Baldersnäs for my husband to come by car. We spend some time together at this beautiful place, visited the shops, had a very tasty waffle and a drink. I continued the route by bike along an old cycle track, gravel roads through the woods, a bit up and down, most of the time along the lake.nMy husband followed me by ‘Find me’ to check if i kept going on the right track and met me again at the agreed drop off point where we met Eric again. He delivered excellent services!!nIn this way I felt very safe cycling on my own. So it became a very enjoyable but also very empowering experience, one of the highlights of our holiday.nI definitely recommend this top Dalsland cycling experience!

Erik was incredibly helpful in helping me replace a part needed for my bike tour. He was professional and kind and came to assist even out of hours. A true professional and great set-up for bikes and touring.

The Dalsland Experience is a great way to explore the Dalsland area. They rent out good quality gravel bikes equipped with shimano’s grx groupset, specifically designed for gravel riding and they also have high quality ebikes. On top of that they can also set you up with a gravel route in the form of a gpx file for your own bike computer, but you can also rent one I believe. This meant that I could go on a biking trip through the area with my parents, even though we all have different levels. I also went mountainbiking with the owner Erik who is a local guide and knows all of the trails in the area. Some of the trails you can find on komoot or trailforks, but linking them up is a nightmare if you’re not from the area believe me, I tried. I had a great experience at the Dalsland experience and would definitely recommend you rent your bike here or you go on a guided mountainbike or gravel ride.
