This museum offers a fascinating and unexpected! look at the history of Swedish, African, and Brazilian fishermen. Though mostly in Swedish, Google Lens helped translate the descriptions. Well worth the 45 kronor entrance fee!
A very cosy, interesting and super friendly place. We speak no Swedish, so we could not read all the info but still us the adults and our children had real fun going through the exhibition of all the artefacts from the life of fishermen, sailors and local residents. All very genuine and visibly taken care of with lots of love. There are several nice restaurants nextdoors. The entire trip to the island incl the ferry was a great experience.
A small but lovely museum with lots of fishing history and equipment. Also has some interesting life scale boat replicas amongst others.nA nice visit when on the island to also learn about the islands fishing history also.
A small and cozy museum. A good place to learn more about the history, what the boats looked like back in the days and where they were built.
Very nice museum with a cheap price. If you like fishing it is a great place to go.
