Trosa stads kyrka

Beautiful surroundings and nice to see the old church that survived the Russian ravages.

Absolutely nice tree town with many nice little shops....

Here I am baptized and confirmed. It is often open here, there is time for a little contemplation, donating a penny to the church and lighting a candle, to remember a friend or relative. The church has its obvious place in Trosa and is beautifully located next to the old parts of Trosa.

Still, among the vaults, peaceful, in it not too much, too high ceilings. Långe, the priest Lars Johnsson, speaks to us.

This small church, one of four churches in Trosa parish, dates from the 1680s, the youngest of them all. It is barren and stripped, in its simple and powerful appearance.
