This place is fantastic for families! There are plenty of interactive exhibits and play areas to keep children busy and entertained with technology. It’s a great spot for parents too, you can actually relax and enjoy a picnic while the kids are happily occupied.

Majestic place!!! Worlds 1st water to electricity power plant, ehat an amazing place with nature surrounding you, lots of birds, wild animals and beautiful plants. Recommend to visit with family and specialty with kids as there are lots of cool activities for the youngsters! 100% recommended place to go and see in Umea.

Located about 15 km from Umeå City is the Umeå Energy Center, a recreational and free area with a playground and various entertainment options for children. You can bring a snack and sit on the grass, or buy ice cream at a small on-site ice cream parlor. In short, a quiet, safe place where children can play and have a good time.

What a delightful place this is to visit for adults and children alike. There's so much for the kids to do, lovely cafe, clean toilets. The museum was so interesting and the grounds are beautifully kept. We stayed for hours, very relaxing. No entry fee.

Very nice and entertaining for kids. Small exhibition of the old electricity generation facilities that can be interesting for kids and adults.nHas a small store where you can buy ice cream and some other simple stuff, however a small restaurant or a kiosk is missing from the place.
