This is the main university building for Upsalla. It is so striking, it looks like a cathedral and a London museum all in one. It’s a beautiful space where they hold some of the lectures given the Nobel prize winners are held each year. There is an enormous auditorium inside.
This historic building is the main building of Uppsala University. Founded in the 1880s, the building is still used for lectures, conferences, and other university purposes. The interior of the building looks like a castle from the past.
Quite a cool building in central Uppsala. Unfortunate, but understandable, that you're not allowed to eat here.
An astonishing building with lots of history!
I am a professor at a university in the USA and I can only *wish* that any of our buildings was half as lovely as this one none of them are - :- . Stunning. Definitely worth a stop after visiting the cathedral.
