The museum consists of eight buildings where the old ways of living are reproduced with lots of old furniture, tools, etc. In one of them is a Christmas scene. There is also a large room with paintings in the local Bonad folk art tradition, mainly representing scenes from the Bible. The guide explains all about pigments, chosen scenes, use of perspective, etc. in a very simple and friendly way. Voluntary contribution.nThere is a small café where you can get the best waffles in the world and other treats.

The guide, Sören, who adeptly elucidated the bonads and their historical significance, truly exemplifies mastery in his craft. His profound expertise transforms the entire museum visit into an elevated experience. I was captivated by his articulate voice during the explanations, which added an enchanting element to the encounter.

Quaint little museum about rural life. A pzrt is about the local painting tradition bonad with plant based colours, scenes from the bible with figures from the daily life and imagination of the artists, evolving thru time from the 1700's till the 1980's.nNot to miss either: the small open air café where you czn enjoy lovely waffles with cream and strawberry jam.nFriendly and helpful people work at the place, guiding and preparing food. Free entry, but some support is welcome.

Nice quiet place with interesting open-air museum.nAnd then there was a concert with the only female Gnawa singer and her group from Morocco.nWild and different and fruitful cultural meeting.nThey do several such music events during the summer.nGood initiative.
