Valla torg is an open space in the district Årsta in Söderort within Stockholm municipality. It is located at the middle part of Sandfjärdsgatan and uses the street's address numbering. The square is named after Valla gård with roots dating back to the Middle Ages. Valla gård was for many years an outpost to Årsta gård. The Valla town plot was located at the current block of Sävlången at Sandfjärdsgatan. Valla's old buildings were demolished in 1960.nnThe site measures 120x50 meters and was inaugurated in 1965. Next to it is the fountain Vallafontänen by the artist Bertil Johnson.nnThe name is also used for one of the Tvärbanan's stops. The stop is at the former Nyboda-Enskede railway embankment between Valla torg and Rämensvägen. The distance to station Alvik is 7.0 kilometers.nnFor example, there is a glass building near Valla torg located at Sandfjärdsgatan.
