Vattingsmalarna Nature preserve

A super nice little beach. Perfect for a coffee stop.

All of Sweden in miniature! What a beautiful, diverse nature reserve! I did a fantastic 4km loop and hardly met anyone else even though it's not marked on the map, it's very easy to find.nnFirst, along the coast, following the orange markers, with beautiful sandy beaches offering opportunities for campfires, seating, and shelters, past boulder fields and small bogs, and ponds overgrown with reeds and water lilies. You can also follow smaller trails and observe seabirds.nnThen the path continues to burial grounds over 1000 years old see picture. At the graves, I turned back and took the signposted fork a few meters to the two wonderful lakes of Herrgardstjarnen. The path leads through a timber plantation where I spotted a white-tailed eagle to the two lakes. There are fantastic benches installed on the water at the larger lake! Great! And so I arrived back at my starting point! Thank you so much! Wonderful. Sweden in pocket format only missing a mountain :
