Vimmerby Stadshotell Restaurang

We had a reservation and when we got there, first we had to wait for the one waitress who does the seating. Then we got a dirty table a lot of food stains and the waitress said someone would come to clean it. After no one came for a long time, we had to ask again for the cleaning. Ordering also took some time.nWe finally got a waitress and she was really making an effort didn’t know about wines but let us try some. The service really needs to improve.nThe food was good.nAtmosphere is OK, the view is over the town square, where is also a playground if you have kids.

Got here for Lunch for two families, everyone took something from the standard lunch menu. Unfortunately mostly everything was overcooked both pasta, chicken and Fish... Either almost porridge, dry and over fried...nI won't be going back for the food...nAtmosphere though was great and nice choice of salad before the lunch...

Had lunch which was fantastic! Nice sallads, good food and small fika afterwards. Very good price for a dagens lunch which is very tasty. They have pancakes for kids and high chairs if you ask.

This is a really lovely hotel in the centre of Vimmerby. The quality of the food is always good. There is always meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian options available. There is also a great range of salads for a starter. Water or a lite öl is included in the price as is a choice of tea or coffee and a biscuit. It is great value. They also offer discount for pensioners.
