Good prices compared to other similar stores in Uppsala. Quite broad choice of goods
We really enjoyed grocery shopping here for our short stay in Uppsala. There were plenty of options available and we enjoyed the breads and candies available. The carts were easy to locate and easy to push around, all areas were highly accessible and check out was easy for tourists like us. I also enjoyed trying out self checkouts for the first time.
The staff is really kind and helpful whenever you need anything you can ask and they’re quick to provide service with one major exception and that is their cues at the cashier sometimes it’s extremely long and nothing is done about it. Customers have to wait for far too long to pay for their product.
Sadly I will not be using this shop anymore for online shopping.nNot only were there always 3-4 smashed eggs in a pack of 20, but last time some of the eggs were actually rotten!!! Also bought on the 13th and the BB date was 13th, if I am buying products that are already a bit old, can I at least get a discount?nPacks of bacon pierced and off when I collected my bags.nYogurt that are systematically almost at the BB date again why can't I get a discount for short dates?.nBought a fallukorv on the 6th of July with expiry date on the 28th of June.nBB dates are only an indication, I know that. But it's a bit tiresome when doing your weekly shopping that all your products need to be eaten more quickly and aren't necessarily very fresh. Especially when you pay 59 sek for the privilege of getting someone to pick up your groceries.nThe pickers clearly do not care for handling eggs carefully or checking expiry dates!nI emailed Willys to complain but am yet to hear back.nIn summary, by all means go there in person to pick up your groceries, but watch the dates and avoid online shopping!
Its cheap, it is easy to navigate and find the items you are looking for. Credit to the staff for being friendly. However, one major issue is the queues, they so long that can reach antarctica. Today the queue was super long and nobdy did anything about it, when we told the staff they said the could not do anything about it. Hence, the problem is with the decision makers rather then staff. Besides from this, it's actually a great store.
