Historie

A small rail station with a lovely cafe inside. There are only about two or more trains daily thus for its limited capacity in the waiting area.
Walked to the station from my hotel on icy path. Trains are not running due to derailment. Busses are being used. Inside the station is a Cafe where you can have lunch and a coffee. They have postcards and other touristy items for sale.
Bad facilities, toilet is not free and the place closes at 20:00 so sort yourself out if your train is cancelled cause the staff there doesn’t care. Half the station waiting space is basically taken by a miniature model version of the city. There’s no ticket vending machines and the staff is rude. In order to avoid looking at passengers on the platform they were holding the curtains of the offices closed until the platform was empty.
A neat station, such a nice coffee terrace in the summer The big Amfi shopping center is also located right next to the station.
Perfect for traveling by Arctic Train to Sweden. There are some Cafe & Bar as well as a small exhibition that is dedicated to construction of the Ofоten Railway stations.
If you visit the train station, go inside to take a look at the coffee shop. They have preserved it as it was 100 years ago, and it is worth a few minutes of your time. Apart from the coffee and snacks, they also have some tourist gifts.
Very little amenities there not even a vending machine and seating most of us had to sit on the floor.
Picking up the Arctic train to Kiruna. An amazing journey.
20 Years ago it was a nice littel Train Station with still very Romantic old Wood Wagons and very few peopel. NOW have they "invented" the Artic Train and its a freak show. Full with teenagers that behave like they are at home in their bedroom, noisy, dirty loud , leaving there trash everywhere and drinking ... It not nice any more... Dosent help the modern train, its simpely a freak show....
