The Rombak Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the Rombaken fjord near the town of Narvik in Nordland county, Norway. The 765m bridge was opened in 1964. The main span is and the maximum clearance to the sea is.The bridge has a weight limit of 90MT. That, along with the danger of avalanches on the road near the bridge, has led to plans for a new bridge, the Hålogaland Bridge. It will be a long suspension bridge that goes straight across the fjord from Narvik to Øyjord. The new bridge will save some driving distance and time as well.
