This is a nice, private and relaxing restaurant. The vegana pizza was delicious and I loved the artichoke salad. I had a lovely time. The reason for 4/5 states was service. Super nice server but very, very slow. No refills on drinks and we had to wave him down a few times. I understand it was busy, but we made a reservation and hoped to be done eating at 60-90 minutes. We were there for 130 minutes due to waiting. Otherwise, great food!
My team was traveling for work and we found this restaurant close to where we were staying. I’m SO glad we stumbled upon Nardo because it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we had. Our server was very friendly and had an exquisite Italian accent. He suggested a few items including potato croquettes and calamari. We also ordered some pizzas to share and individual plates as well. Everything here was delicious and the server was awesome. I’d come back here if in the area again.
I really love this part of Huntington Beach. Great ambience and super friendly staff with the best pizzas. Branzino was nothing special but taste of pizza was outstanding and unforgettable. Chocolate temptation was awesome, highly recommended.Mat: 5/5
We really liked the waiter Marco, he is from Italy and speaks Italian, it was fun to communicate with him. We didn't like the food itself, the pizza was burnt, the crusts were burnt on the bottom and on the top, the dough was too thin. The potato croquettes were delicious. It is a pity that there is no freshly squeezed juice, only store juice. Minus big for us is that we didn't eat a lot, but after the meal we had a stomach ache and didn't feel very good, we don't know why that happened.
Amazing Italian restaurant! Outstanding service. We were greeted and promptly seated without reservation. Plenty of friendly staff, unlike many other restaurants that lack enough staff or disgruntled and underpaid. The ambiance is amazing. The indoor dining area is very chic. The outdoor patio has an amazing view of the sunset and Huntington Pier. Just marvelous! The menu features a lot of choices to fit whatever you're craving. All the ingredients are fresh and very flavorful. We ordered a pasta dish, ravioli, and a pizza. Each dish looked delicious with a matching flavor. As an added bonus, prices were very reasonable considering the quality of food, the outstanding service, and the amazing location with a view. Strongly recommend if you're in Huntington Beach!
This place is a pure gem What a great find on a busy night. We waited 40 minutes for the table. However, it was definitely worth it. Delicious Italian pizza, great service, very close to the beach. Highly recommend.Mat: 5/5
Great Pizza. Italian restaurant with nice authentic menu. We had fried octopus and pizza and were very well prepared with quality ingredients. The lication is nice in the middle of the mall with nice outdoor patio. Inside is a modern Italian theme. Great pizza oven wood fired. Fast service. Parkering: Remember to validate parking tkt
First time to Nardo Italian Restaurant in Pacific City. I've been here a couple of times, but I've never eaten here. They have nice Neopolitan pizza choices on the menu. We tried to the LA Rosa and the zucchini white. I wanted to try something different than the usual pizzas. We also got the avocado toast with peppers. The vibe was really chill.and the pizza, appetizers, and atmosphere were good. The waitress was really kind and took care of our needs while we dined in. I would definitely go back to try the Brussel Sprouts and a few other things on the menu. The bar area was very big and was elegant. I liked the overall vibe of this place. The big brick over in the kitchen gives off the tone for the pizza rhwg is being served. The parking to this place in the underground garage in the back and not hard to get to. You use the elevators to come right out in the shopping plaza. The plaza has great views, and you are able to see the beach from many spots in Pacific city.
Stopped in for a late lunch after time at the beach. Pizza was excellent. Crust just right amount of crisp with fluffy pillow like dough on the inside. Lasagna was delicious, sauce tasted so fresh. Love the ambiance with a view of he beach and nice to people watch.Mat: 5/5
Great Food and Service, But Atmosphere Could Use Some Tweaking I've had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant several times and keep coming back for the consistently good food and attentive service. The prime location only adds to its appeal. However, there's one aspect that could be improved to enhance the dining experience: the lighting. While the restaurant seems to have the right equipment to create a more intimate and cozy atmosphere for dinner guests, the current lighting feels a bit too harsh, more akin to a cafeteria setting. With a few adjustments to reduce the intensity of the lighting, the ambiance would perfectly complement the excellent food and service offered here.
