Really wonderful cabins that are both cozy and beautifully styled. We stayed in a sea view cabin, which allowed us to fall asleep to the lapping of the waves and wake up to the view of the sun rising over the mountains. It was fabulously relaxing and well placed to explore Lofoten by car. Breakfast and communal facilities were excellent. Staff were really welcoming. And, there is an aquarium, museum and gallery within a few minutes on foot. It was absolutely faultless and I would highly recommend a stay here.
Nice hotel, located in a quiet, beautiful place. There is also Lofoten Aquarium just a minute of walk. We had two bedroom cottage for four people, rather simple inside but good enough. Very tasty breakfast, variety of meals. Plenty of parking space. Mat og drikke: Great breakfast.
The cottage has a spacious living area and a well-equipped kitchen, but what impressed us was a shoe dryer. The bedroom was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable bed and warm blankets. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of choices and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. However, setting up the heater can be a bit tricky, and it takes a while to warm up. If you're not set on having a sea view, book a regular room. It's a bit more budget, and you can always stroll down to the deck to catch a glimpse of the view.
We stayed in August 2024 for two nights while exploring Lofoten. We loved our two-bedroom cottage with sea view breakfast included. It was right in the water. The view was wonderful and it was very peaceful. We had the best halibut dinner while in Lofoten at the hotel restaurant. My two teenage sons and my husband absolutely loved the ability to jump in from high pier to swim and did it every day. None of the other four hotels during our stay offered that. They did it over and over and seemed to be having so much fun. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this hotel.
Location was quiet and remote which we liked. Yet close to everything. The rorbu cabins offered the quintessential norwegian holiday. Great views. Great hikes. We had great weather so swam in the ocean off the dock which was vigorating! We wish the sauna and hot tub options were included in the pricing or could be purchased ala carte. We asked if we could just use the hot tub after long hike but they said no, it was all the spa for 2 hours or nothing. So we were unable to take a 20 minute hot tub. At the time neither hot tub was being used. I never saw the sauna used during the 4 days we were there. So we feel we missed out a bit on the experience of Norway with sauna and hot tub since unwilling to pay extra for a specified 2 hour slot. Rom: Lovely 2 level rorbu with kitchen, dining, living areas. 2 bedrooms upstairs with very steep stairway. There is little circulation on the hot days we were there so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. There is also nowhere in the bedrooms to store anything. There were two of us so we used one bedroom for our suitcases and clothes.
We had two night stay in Nyvågar Rorbuhotell. Amazing room, breakfast and overall ambiance. The location is close to Svolvær and Henningsvær. Highly recommended!!Rom: 5/5
We had a nice relaxing short holiday. Hotel is nice, beautiful views, nice and friendly personel. Beds were comfortable and breakfast delicious. Specially for a Finn the sauna with a view was delightful. Aktiviteter i nærheten: Lots of activities nearby.
Wonderful experience. The accommodations were great. The property is so charming and lovely. Breakfast was delicious. This was our first trip to Lofoten and it couldn’t have been any better!!Rom: 5/5
We went there in may so not a touristic period, but this place is heaven..the rorbu are fantastic, they have everything you need, plenty of space for 4 ppl. The view on the sea is amazing and you can feel the peace everywhere. Great breakfast!
Lovely place, only wish I had stayed more than one night! Wonderful food at restaurant that had a great maritime motif Rom: Wonderful rorbu/cabins with kitchette and sitting area. Comfy bed and heated floor in bathroom!
