Historie

Vigeland Park is an absolute gem! It's like walking through an open-air art gallery, with over 200 sculptures that are both impressive and, let’s be honest, sometimes hilariously quirky! The park is huge, so there’s plenty of space to wander, relax, or just people-watch. The kids had a blast running around while we marveled at the sculptures—some are beautiful, some are... let’s say, 'unique'! A perfect spot to relax, enjoy art, and maybe have a picnic under the trees. Definitely a must-see!
A spectacular place, a tourist attraction, a park like few others, a place that you must to visit and enjoy the natural, the artistic, very clean and very well maintained. What is presented speaks for itself, it's expressed strongly, and says a lot... Rich in green areas, colors and environments, depending on the season. It's part of the set of areas and fountains that can be found around the park. Its outside downtown, But very easy to reach by bus or train. Highly recommended.
A lovely park, with a lot of peaceful corners. The middle of the park is filled with statues of people in various positions; most of them undressed. It is a beautiful display of how nakedness don't have to be sexualized. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei

This park…Absolutely speechless! Magnificent, huge, impeccable, fascinating, beautiful to every single detail, immaculately maintained and fireworks to the eye and soul. I visited a hot Friday in June and there were probably thousands of visitors, but even so, the park was peaceful and welcoming.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesIkke sikker
The sculptures are truly magnificent and beautifully crafted, capturing a wide range of human emotions and experiences. The park itself is well-maintained, providing a serene and picturesque setting that enhances the experience. It’s a popular spot, and for good reason.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
My only regret is that I couldn't visit this place on a sunny day! Such a picture perfect place it is! A wonderful park to spend a day with your loved ones. There are many open spaces to have picnics, shades of trees to stroll around, numerous statues and fountains to look at, children's playground, etc., making the park a complete package. Would not miss another chance to visit this place.
This park in Oslo has a lot to do and is very large. The monolith and water fountain is at the center of the park and surrounded by bronze life-size statues. I am sure they tell a story. Our visit was a short one and did not read up on this. There is an attended washroom, cost is 20 KR. The well decorated roses were in bloom when we were there.
Lovely city park where locals come to sunbathe, have a picnic or simply have a stroll. You can even cook food with barbecues, if you wish! The statues are amazing and the rose garden is beautiful and has a lovely smell.Besøkte stedetPå en helgedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
