My husband and I had an awesome experience snowshoeing. It was our first time hiking through the mountains. Our tour guide, Henry, was patient, friendly, and very helpful. He got us homemade sandwiches, hot chocolate, and tea/coffee. We loved those snacks. I highly recommend this trip. Thanks, Henry, and Wandering Owl for making our hike an easy breeze.
What an absolutely epic adventure even if the weather was not always on our side. Our guide Bart was super knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and made sure each one of us had a good time. Some level of fitness is required but if you are looking for amazing views, good activity, trying something new was my first time snowshoeing then this is a must do tour. They also take some awesome pics for you too along the way which is a great added value! Sustainable business too if this is your thing! Highly Recommend!
I had such a blast on the snowshoe tour with our guide Max. Everything about it was awesome. Max picked out this stunning route, and we were lucky enough to join this activity on a beautiful sunny day. The group size was just right, adding to the fun. What I really loved was how Wandering Owl pays attention to the little things and cares about the environment. Plus, Max was super informative and made sure to look out for anyone who needed a little extra time like me. Definitely recommended!
Our guide, Bart was humorous and awesome. The food was great from the yummy soup to the rich hot chocolate which contributed to an overall spectacular experience. It was evident that our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the Northern Lights and tourism in Tromsø. We drove about 45 minutes north to Kvaløya and had fantastic views of the aurora. Thank you Bart!
Wonderful!!! We went on the adults only aurora hunt and had the most amazing time! Our guide Ellie was fantastic and really made the tour special. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any tours in Tromsø.
My partner and i had an amazing experience snowshoeing with Wandering Owl. Our first tour was sadly cancelled. However, they managed to book us in the following day. The experience was fantastic, stunning landscape and plenty of photo opportunities. The tour guides were great, full of knowledge, and interacted with everyone really well. Will definitely be booking again with Wandering Owl.
We had a great night with tour guide Max, he was very knowledgeable and the evening was so much fun, we had delicious home made veg soup around a camp fire, and the hot chocolate was delicious too. We got to see the amazing Aurora also. Thank you
This was our second northern lights tour of the week the first tour was with another company and we didn't see them. We absolutely LOVED this tour. Very organized, so informational, and just overall great vibes. The soup was incredible after eating backpacking food on the first tour... And got drinks were great. Anna was a fantastic guide and though a 15 person group, felt SO personal. Magick was also amazing and so funny the whole night. We got fantastic pictures but even if we didn't see the lights I think it would have been a blast. Give them a raise!
Ellie guided us through one of the best nights of our lives. I proposed to my girlfriend during the tour and it was magical. They helped me plan it 2 months before. I got some great pictures and amazing memories from it. Highly recommend the tour. They take you into areas you wouldn’t find on your own. We did two different areas, felt like we were hunting. They provide needed gear which was great. And even though the lights were shy and scarce since we came at the end of high season, she still found them. She has an eye for them and what to look for. Such a nice wholesome person too - thank you.
We had a great tour! The lights were not as vibrant and beautiful as we had wished and knew the possibility but still had an amazing experience and served the most yummy soup and hot chocolates enjoying stories and information about the northern lights and Norway!
