The ride was comfortable and convenient, but the price was quite expensive at $36 for a 20-minute trip. Still, it’s a fast and efficient way to travel.

Worst airport train station I’ve ever been in. No ticket machines so can’t buy a ticket easily or quickly. Only two staff manning two old tills, and you cannot buy tickets nationwide - most national trains you have to purchase online at an independent website, with minimal instructions from either staff or at the station. Staff aggressive and unfriendly, and don’t give receipts - so cannot have tickets refunded, even if you bought them two minutes prior because of bad instructions. Downstairs no train information, no clock - it’s a marvel anyone ever figures out how to get a ticket or which train to catch.

Minus stars if I could — they only got one because Google won’t allow.nWe paid 52€ ≈ 590 SEK for three people for a 9-minute train ride to the airport. We already had valid single tickets ≈ 4€ each, but at the gate they demanded an extra 147 SEK ≈ 14€ per person. Of course, none of this was explained in English.nnThis is not public transport — it’s outright theft, legalized and polished as “airport service.” For less money we could have taken an Uber, been faster, and actually treated with honesty.nnSweden clearly has no problem ripping off tourists as a farewell gift. Avoid this scam at all costs.

The people who work here know nothing more than is on the App. They do not listen to your questions and are very abrupt with their responses. I live in Sweden and understand the system. Must be even worse for those who don’t.nIt costs me more to drive and park but will be doing that in the future after several incidents of poor customer service and lack of knowledge.

Train station is reasonably easy to find for those arriving at Arlanda for the first time. You can also take the airport trolley all the way down to the tracks if you have a lot of luggage.
