Stockholm Central Station

A nice station with plenty of shops and restaurants. Just stay alert and keep an eye on your belongings since that there is a lot engineers and doctors from Middle East and Africa around. Especially be aware if you are women.

Great national and international train station. Platforms are all easy to find... Thought it is massive so can be a walk between them.nnThere is lots of space for waiting and eating etc. there is even a small kids play area.nnGood selection of food and snacks places. The salad bar in Coop is always a good choice.

I was using Arlanda Express to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Go down the escalator and follow the signage to airport. Very convenient. Ticket can purchase right before entering the train. There is a ticketing machine can pay by card. 2 stops to terminal 5. First stop to the rest of the terminals.

When I needed help purchasing a train ticket they patiently guided me through the process, making my experience smooth and stress free. It’s rare to find such great service in a busy transport hub.nnOverall, Stockholm Central Station is not just a transit point but a great place to stop, grab a meal, and get assistance if needed.

I agree to pay for using the toilet when it is clean and well maintained. But paying for broken, dirty and poorly maintained toilets is shameful. This is the first and last impression many tourists have of the city, and it does not reflect how clean and well maintained Stockholm really is.
