Yoga & meditation retreats, Mindfulness conferences, Bed & Breakfast, vegan/vegetarian restaurant & summer café (ends 11/8).
Welcome to our lovely Bed & Breakfast, café and boutique. We are located in the beautiful area of Asphyttan in Värmland, just south of Filipstad.
We invite you to explore the beauty of the nature here and to go on a hike, fish, swim, go canoeing or skiing (10 km to Kalhyttans Ski resort). Or if you’re feeling lazy, just hang out at our place - refresh in the hot sauna and the jacuzzi, take a revitalising yoga class or enjoy a nice meal in our vegetarian café.
Some weekends we will offer yoga retreats and for some we invite companies to visit us for a relaxing and revitalising conference weekend. Retreats will be announced well ahead of time, so check our Facebook page or our webpage for more info!
Our history
Asphyttan Bed & Breakfast was founded back in 2012 by the lovely couple Eva-Lena and Tony. They spent many years building and establishing what is now a highly appreciated B&B and café locally.
After years of lovely guests and hot drinks though, they decided that it was time for someone else to manage Asphyttan B&B and take it into the future. One day a slightly younger couple came to visit and fell in love with the place. Eva-Lena and Tony gave their approval and told Philippa and Simon that they would be the perfect new owners of Asphyttan B&B if they were up for it.
And we were. And here we are.
We moved to and started managing Asphyttan in November 2017. And we promise to bring all of our energy and love to keep giving the service old customers are used to and new ones should expect.
As some of you may have heard that there might be a few changes down the line, and that’s true. We plan to offer fun and instructive activities and events to our guests, with focus on yoga, meditation and mindfulness. But we don’t want to spoil the excitement of curiosity - stay tuned and you'll be the first to hear!
Hope to see you all real soon!
With Metta,
Philippa & Simon❤️
