I really like this hotel and it's the only one I choose to stay at when visiting Gothenburg. The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels, and the staff is always very friendly. However, my only issue is with the food. While I appreciate the effort to be creative, it would be great if the cook could tone down the experimentation.
Central location, decent breakfast and also a light meal is offered at dinner. Gym is available on the property too. Cannot give a higher rating because the room with kitchenette we booked lacks everything that a kitchenette should have, such as plates, forks, spoons, knives, pans. There is a kettle and 2 cups. Am surprised Clarion is marketing this as a kitchenette for family friendly stays. It is not.
Very Nice hotel with Super Nice and cheerfull staff. Yes its not a very modern hotel but everything is just too good and specially for the price you pay. Nothing to complain about. I read some negative reviews and was afraid after the booking that maybe i made a mistake but i got much more value than i paid for the booking. Absolutely a great stay, in terms of food, staff, information and any kind of support from hotel staff.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bed had stains of unknown origin, which was extremely unsettling. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. To make matters worse, the housekeeping staff didn’t even come in to tidy the room during my stay, leaving the bed unmade and the bathroom untouched. For a place that claims to offer good service, this was very disappointing. I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Nice hotel, great location, very near the center of Gothenborg. Nice family room and it is all inclusive with buffet thats actually pretty good and healthy. One bad thing is, I found 2 hairs one day during dinner but my main feeling is that it is a good kitchen. Nice and helpful staff. You have to buy parking as an extra charge but i think that is very common.nThere were coffee and tea and a cooker in the room but we needed something to stir with. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.
