Clarion Hotel Post is absolutely stunning, especially during winter! The moment you arrive, the hotel welcomes you with a true Christmas vibe. The decorations are breathtaking, and the entire place feels like a festive wonderland right in the heart of Gothenburg.nnThey really know how to create an unforgettable winter attraction. Every corner is beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere feels warm and magical even when there’s a lighting storm outside. The highlight for me was the huge red bow on the building—it’s so striking and elegant that everyone passing by stops to admire it. Truly a “wow” moment!
One of the most dog-friendly hotels ever! When you arrive they give you items for the dog in your room—bowl, chewing bone, poop bags, extra towel and sheet, and they also provide a sign for the door that says there is a pet so do not disturb. Dogs are permitted in the lounge bar, they said restaurant although we didn’t try that during our stay and when we went to get drinks at the lobby bar, the bartender offered our dog a bowl of water. All the staff was so nice about the dog and prepared. Highly recommend this place for anyone traveling with pets!!
We stayed for one night in this hotel, the location is great just next to the central station, and Ebba is the most friendly staff I have ever met she kindly introduced us the city and gave us to a room with a great view, the next day’s weather was perfect and we really enjoyed this beautiful city a lot, and of course the breakfast was also very delicious
Absolutely the best! Great location for transportation, restaurants, the harbor, and especially the train station. Very quiet and great buffet breakfast. People not staying at the hotel come in, so you must reserve ahead!nI would return. I stayed at other hotels during the week and this was beyond compare. Best!
The stay was very enjoyable until there was some nightclub going on. Impossible to sleep, even called the reception and was offered earplugs. What hotel has nightclubbing, especially on a week day when people gotta get up early to work? I'm at a hotel to sleep. nnEverything else was 10/10, but I need my sleep.
