Already when you enter the door and your nose is filled with promising scents from the kitchen you know you will have a meal to remember. I'm not a huge fan of Indian food...but after this experience I can't wait until next time. We shared two starters and three mains on two and it was all amazingly good. We are both big eaters. Big plus for Indian beer. Staff is a bit busy as there is also a take way place. Our waiter forgot our dessert. but we'll come back for sure to explore the menu. Recommend
Compact and cozy place. The food was amazing, very close to actually Indian food. Spices were authentic as well. We requested for the spicy levels as we wanted and it was served exactly that way. Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely visit again for the service and the food. Good view of the port as well. Kids would also love the places. Overall the dining was great from the start to finish.
Authentic smell of spices right at the door. Cosy lights with relaxed background music.nnGood choice of vegetarian options available. Indian tea was excellent addition. Very pleasant/ friendly staffs and cosy nice interior decor. Felt like homely food.nnA perfect break during a long drive.
Food was very good and not too spicy for non-indians palates, just the right amount of spiciness. Unfortunately dishes were on the small side and a bit pricey. Ambient is nice but a bit outdated.nnGiving 3 stars because of 2 factors: space is quite small, to the point of other people's dishes being smelled from the entire restaurant if it is a very spicy dish, everyone coughs or sneezes, and waiter service was misleading about what was included with the plates or not I was offered garlic bread but was charged for it, and the menu does not mention it was not included, nor the waiter warned me, so I felt scammed.
This Indian restaurant in Gothenburg is truly one of the finest. The dishes exude an authentic flavor that met our expectations. The chicken lollipop starter was a standout, and both the tawa gosht takatak and tandoori khazana were equally impressive. The gulab jamun dessert was exceptionally soft and delicious, making it a true representation of authentic Indian cuisine.
