The most disappointing Indian food we have eaten in a long while. Nauseatingly sweet, both the starter and the mains. I was starving and trying to just pick out the chunks and avoid the very sugary tandoori and mataar sauces. Starter nr 6 is supposed to be crispy bread topped with potatoes, cheese, chutney etc. Instead we got two cold balls of cheese and potato I guess drenched in an unappetising mix of sauces. There was absolutely nothing crispy in this dish. We were convinced that this was a mistake and we got the wrong dish. We asked and we were told that the crispy bread is soft and is an ingredient in the balls see image for the crispy bread with toppings
I had no idea that the paradise of indian food was located in the little city of Stenungsund. : Amazing food and very service minded staff made our visit to a fantastic gourmet experience.nIf you pass by Stenungsund, or happen to live there, don't hesitate to make a visit.
Nestled by the marina in Stenungsund, this restaurant offers beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere. I had the Nariali Lamb, and it was rich and flavorful. My father raved about his Rogan Josh. The samosas were the perfect start to our meal, and the Garlic and Coriander Naan was lush. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous, making it great value for money.nnThe service was incredibly fast and friendly, without feeling rushed. Our server was attentive and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Our waitress went above and beyond, noticing when the sun got a bit too warm through the large windows and opening them to keep us comfortable. All in all, we had a wonderful evening and I look forward to coming back when I'm in Sweden again.
The place has great selection of quality food, Ocean view with great service and price. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place.
Really loved this Indian restaurant. I've eaten at a few Indian restaurants in Gothenburg and this one is one of the best. Lots of different choices on the menu. I took a fish curry with salmon and my husband tried some grilled lammbiffar. We also tested the paneer pakora and the paneer chili naan. Plus, 3 mango lassi to wash it all down. Everything was delicious! Will definitely try them again and certainly recommend it to anyone in the area.
