Falun Hospital

I gave birth in this hospital 5 years ago! I am still struggling with the bad memories. Since the baby was kind of big according to them almost on the too big side to deliver naturally I have requested to have a c-section but that request was rejected. They promised me in case of any complications they will perform c-section. I have also requested them not to use any type of vacuum on the baby. Long story short, I got epidural but their doctor did it wrong and it was only effective on half of my body! The rest of my body could still feel everything! I complained but they didn’t call the doctor! Instead they gave me another dose of epidural and that made half of my body completely paralysed while the rest of my body was in such excruciating pain. I could not even move my legs so at the end I had to lie down on my back during the last part of it. And guess what! They used the vacuum extraction at the end anyway. The doctor they called was threatening me all the way along by saying “if you dont push harder and wont cooperate we will use the vacuum extraction” I was in such vulnerable situation and yet didn’t get any sympathy from them but just threatening. Or for example telling me that my daughter is trying so hard to come out and I should try harder… that whole vacuuming gave me a big tear that they ended up with an extra 4 hours of giving me stitches following by losing a lot of blood. The whole time I could not be with me daughter fully just short cuddles and I was crying the whole time. I could not speak to anyone about this because for a long time that made me really anxious and I couldn’t keep my tears back! Every time I wanted to even think about having a second child I became overwhelmed by those bad feelings and memories… Oh and by the way, they handed the baby to my husband so carelessly that he almost dropped her! Even one star is too much!

My wife gave birth to our first daughter ‘Anandita’ in this hospital, We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to whole staffs involved in the procedure, it was remarkable efforts and support provided during this crucial phase of our life which we never forget till we die, right from entering to exit everything was well above par.. Our daughter and we are proud of you for this great work.. Thank you everyone from bottom of our hearts!

I gave birth in Falun a decade ago. I was told I was given a epidural but actually was not, it was a strait lie, they just felt in their own opinion I would do better without and they were gravely wrong. Since I have sensory processing disorder and EDS it caused complications and my child and myself nearly lost our lives, my child got stuck, it caused prolapse, I hemorrhaged, my child's heart rate dropped to dangerous levels, he was stuck inside me and I couldn't bear to push because I have sensory issues which makes it much harder for me to endure the pain, not to mention all of the tearing and stitches I had to endure. I still to this day have not recovered. All because the nurses ignored my birth plan and health issues. My other two children and husband were nearly out a mom and a brother simply because the birthing staff at Falun want to play god.nnOn a side note, my other two children were born with ease because the very professional staff who birthed them at a separate hospital actually followed my chart closely and did what was recommended for my conditions and I was allowed a REAL epidural for them both, which was very helpful in giving a vaginal birth with my conditions. You can tell if you get an actual epidural, immediately.nnIf you need an epidural and ask for one at Falun Hospital BEWARE! The staff LIE! They force women into all natural births regardless of your situation. I would see a lawyer before birthing there.

my wife gave birth here and we had to come back here couple times due to the baby's health. Staffs are generally nice as expected but one drawback is the emergency can make you wait for hours and tell you to come again the next day. Meanwhile it is the only main hospital for the whole region. They can do some improvement there.
