I was sceptical because of low ratings but decided to take a risk. Well... I didn't regret a second: drinks came almost immediately after ordering, food arrived in 15 min. The dishes were traditional and quiet tasty. Wine list was good enough for us.nnIt's a restaurant on a family resort so it's amazing in terms of kids friendliness: two small playgrounds, a lot of space for our kid to run and play on his own or with other kids. Be aware of that and choose another place for a romantic dinner or at least ask staff to place you in a more quiet area.

Kids friendly. However the food is like a minimally better lunch.nnSeason staff is friendly but not very polished.nnOrdered a medium rare pepper steak, which it was! So I don't agree with previous reviewers that it was bad.nnMy wife ordered salmon which wasn't very good.nnThe lunch buffet is very low quality. Cannot recommend

8 of us, really good meal, steak and burgers were excellent. Fish soup and salmon also really good. Pasta Alfredo was ok, chicken was a little overcooked. Service was lovely and prompt. And prices were very reasonable for a resort restaurant.

Quite good food, especially warm chocolate. Reasonable prices.

For dinner, got the BBQ burger which I had to wait an hour for, but when it did come despite all the other reviews it wasn't terrible. The meat was well cooked and the bacon was crispy, but the salad was a bit dull. The fries you got were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Considering the price, you still get a perfectly okay burger. Also ordered another Pepsi which was completely rejected and was not drinkable. Avoid the soft drinks! The staff were very nice and kind. But far too many children and screaming, could hardly talk to each other at the table and there were constantly children running around. A bit of a dining room feel. The toilets were not very fresh : However, of course this is not a fine restaurant but more of an après-ski place with simple food, so you shouldn't expect too much. In summary, quite an okay place that I weakly recommend because if you don't like pizza, it's the only dinner place Kungsberget offers.
