Delicious food, abit long waiting time but worth it, stream of fresh water flowing by the side and lush green gardens for walk after the meal, Ice cream taste great.
Beautiful historic property, the site of an old estate farm and ironworks.
Blunt incompetence. They cannot handle crowds. Every single time we come here when there is somewhat of a crowd weekends on a nice day the kitchen takes over an hour many people waited an hour and a half to serve you the food. The dishes are simple so I don’t understand why they take so long to make them. After so many years they still cannot get their act together. Don’t come here for lunch if you see a line. They are useless and the owner obviously has no idea how to run a restaurant.
Högbo Qvarn is an idyllic place. There is a restaurant with full rights, café and mini golf. There is also a large playground nearby.nThe mill was built in 1862. During the 1950s it was rebuilt into a serving room.nThe café is open during the summer at all hours. 11-15. During the off-season weekend open at 11-16. Christmas tables are served during the month of December.
We waited for an hour for really poor quality food. I had the boulabaisse, which tasted only of salt and saffron, and my partner had the overcooked burger with old bread.nnNice place to sit outside otherwise, but for food would recommend Högbo Brukshotell. Similar price, much better food.
