Glava Gravel Challenge

Had a really great time cycling in the Glaskogen nature reserve with Glava Gravel Challenge. Peter made plenty of routes combining smooth gravel, punchy climbs and beautiful lake and forest views. Nienke made the best breakfast, fika and lunch camp fires! Looking forward to return one day.

We had a wonderful week. Everything was taken care of exceptionally well by Peter and Nienke and Suzanne and Marieke. Good and clear routes, amazing nature, and people of all levels can join in though it is nice if you can cycle for about 3 hours. We had a nice group, with ages ranging from late twenties to late sixties. We had lunch twice at an amazing spot in the woods/by the water, and finished off Friday evening with a BBQ by and for ladies! Oh, and we had a lovely Fika on Wednesday. Still hesitating? In Sweden, you don't have to limit yourself to hiking and canoeing to enjoy nature. With a gravel bike, you can discover magical gravel tracks in Glaskögen National Park. Peter and Nienke have developed a wonderful concept here, where we were warmly welcomed into their beautifully restored accommodation in Glava. Tailor-made routes with the necessary elevation gain were planned for each day. After a delicious breakfast, we set off for 5 days on our gravel/mountain bikes to explore the surroundings.nThe lunch by the lake and the Swedish fika were enjoyed, and the chats afterwards by the fire were super cozy. What an unforgettable week we had with Peter and Nienke!nnWe went on beautiful gravel rides and did wonderful hikes. We visited the most beautiful spots in the forest and by the lake.nnThe lunches in the forest were delicious, and breakfast was a treat every day too.nYou gave us an unforgettable adventure.
