Lovely place, cozy cabins, unforgettable adventures! friendly team and proper organisation. I did have a beautiful time. Highly recommended
I spent 1 week on my own island with my sister using scantrack. It was incredibly beautiful. Everything is very well organized here and there was more than enough food.nThere was also enough provision for your sweet tooth :nThe staff is very friendly and the facilities are very well maintained.nThe area is beautiful and the peace and quiet allows you to completely relax.nEach island or rest area has its own charm.nDespite the changeable weather, it was an incredibly great experience and we will definitely be back.nWe spent the night before and after comfortably at the campsite next door, which was really pleasant in the cabins we rented.nWe traveled comfortably by ferry from Kiel to Gothenburg.nA little tip: take enough cash with you in case something is damaged - for the reimbursement, which is currently only possible in cash.nWe can only recommend Scantrack.nNext time we will definitely try the houseboat to see even more of this beautiful lake.
Nice here, but have you ever been to Baden-Württemberg?nFirst of all, greetings to Enya, radio #3.nVery friendly welcome and tent collection :nnA week on the vast lakes in Sweden flies by as if you were sleeping. Beautiful landscape. You can see many more canoeists around the base camp. The further you drive, the quieter it becomes, so you really get a good balance from your everyday work routine and can switch off!nYou should perhaps make sure that you start the trip with an even number of people so that not one person has to paddle a canoe alone. Otherwise, you get a good all-round package so that you can paddle away virtually carefree. Not exactly cheap, but the infrastructure behind Scantrack is well built. We hardly had any waiting times at baggage claim/drop off and the food was also okay. However, you could get a little less or more varied bread as food.nGreetings from Ba-Wü!
The four of us spent a week “on our own” canoeing.nnArrival: We got on the bus in Lübeck, which took us directly to the camp in Sweden. The trip was well organized and the bus was ok. Nevertheless, the journey is of course long and not particularly comfortable in a coach. But that's not scandtrack's fault. The ferry crossings went smoothly, the bus drivers drove well and we took enough breaks.nnOn site: We were greeted personally by the owner. He explained to us the next steps and how to get on the water.nSo we picked up our equipment and our food, then we went to the boats and straight onto the water.nnCanoe tour: everything was great! The only negative point: Both of our hatchets gave up the ghost and broke. So we had to paddle back to camp and get new ones. But that went smoothly. Some write here that you then have to pay for things directly. We cannot confirm that. They were friendly, apologized for the inconvenience and immediately gave us new hatchets.nnReturn journey: returning the equipment was uncomplicated. Unfortunately we had to be back at camp at 3:30 p.m. even though our bus wasn't supposed to leave until 9:10 p.m. We even ended up leaving West at 9:45 p.m. It's a shame about half the day.nThe bus ride was the same as the outward journey.
We booked a week's vacation on our own island through Skandtrack. We arrived comfortably from Cologne on the Scandtrack Express their own shuttle bus that stops in various cities in Germany and collects guests. We stopped in Dortmund and Hanover to welcome more guests. The bus was sufficiently air-conditioned and so our journey went via Denmark to Sweden. In terms of price, traveling with the Scandtrack Express is a cheaper alternative, but you have to bring some serious equipment with you because you can't even get to the north in 3 hours. After arriving we just wanted to leave and head to the island. But there was still a sophisticated system waiting at the base camp that provided us tourists with all the equipment we needed, including instructions. All the employees were super friendly and always had an open ear for questions, concerns or whatever else was on your mind. Even the boss was always on site and carefully checked that everything was going according to plan. He was also at your side with advice and support. So after a few hours at the base camp we were briefed, prepared and fed yes Scandtrack provides you with food for your trip to the island, which is easily enough for 2 people even if you eat warm lunch and dinner in the morning. A small one But I have to express criticism and maybe it will be taken as feedback and implemented. If, like me, you are a coffee drinker who needs sugar but also likes to eat pancakes with fresh ones you picked yourself, you really have to be careful with the white gold. A second sugar shaker might not be a bad idea here! You can always sort it out quickly if you don't need it, but it would be nice to have for some people.nnNow we set off with the Scandtrack canoe to our own island. Aside from boasting beautiful and breathtaking views, it even has a fire pit and a dry toilet!nnWe enjoyed every second on the island because that would have been impossible with the nature around us. Even if it was storming or raining, you could always find something beautiful about the whole thing. Even if it was just a cozy afternoon in the tent with Netflix and chocolate.nnBecause if you feel a slight lack of sugar, you always have the option of either driving to the nearest town with shopping opportunities or, as in our case, paddling back to camp and stocking up on chocolate. We actually did that twice and each time we not only had our purchase but also had a nice conversation with the boss and employees.nnSo if you like being in nature, are weatherproof and don't shy away from work to create comfort for yourself, Scandtrack has exactly the right offer at a great price. The trip wasn't expensive per person and what you get for it is ultimately priceless!nnWe'll definitely be back, that's already clear today on the day we return home.nnThank you for a week that we will never forget and memories that we will never have again.
