Rikki is an unbelievably kind host, and I am very grateful to how flexible she was with me booking the room, so I could let the weather decide whether I would camp on one of the islands of the archipelago or whether I would sleep in the hostel. The hostel itself is basic but clean and has everything you need, and you can feel that it's an old building with lots of history. Thanks again Rikki!
We had a very comfortable stay here for a couple of nights. Good rooms, good kitchen, excellent staff. The location is superb. Would come again!
Cozy and comfortable. While not luxurious it's a lovely and clean place with pleasant staff. Located in the middle of the small port town of Grebbestad it'll give you a great place to rest in between archipelago tours and shrimp buffets!
It has what is expected from hostels and a very nice dining area upstairs with lots of seating and space for your kitchen stuff. It also has some snall balcony seatings. The place is clean and has most amenities. The man who runs it might come across as grumpy but is just a bit square i.e needs rules and no sudden changes. He is flexible if you just go about it carefully. Situated more or less next to the harbour of Grebbestad, where you can also catch the train to Tanumstrand and their after beach. There are two grocery stores just next doors and ofc the usual restaurants and shops on a walking distance. They have only a few parking spots, but if you arrive in several cars it is possible to rent more parking space next to the hostel for a reduced price 50 sek/24h. The rooms doesn't have blinds, so if you need darkness to sleep do bring a towel or bedsheet to put in front od the window in summer.
The owner is awesome... You need a short cut true the forest... Just ask for it... Clean place huge places to share double kitchen fridges etc... 30meters from the sea walk...
