Ok
We wanted to visit the museum, but even though it was open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we stood in front of a closed door. Apparently there is not enough interest in the museum and it is closed on Saturday afternoons.
We visited the Gruvcentrum, unfortunately only the museum/miners' union museum and a demonstration 'quarry' can be seen. The other impressive buildings do not.nThe museum has no English descriptions and in our case no English-speaking staff member either. We quickly walked through the quarry demonstration at ground level.nIt will be very different when a passionate old miner tells his story.
Was closed when we got there but am impressed by the things we saw outside will be a trip there this summer for sure
