The whole place is nice and interesting.

Cozy cottage village and also a local park in the middle of the beautiful forest environment next to a lake. Very nice service-minded staff. Homemade bread for breakfast that could be bought for a cheap price. You ate it in one of the old cozy buildings. There was a kiosk in the reception that sold ice cream, waffles, etc. We rented the railway carriage cottage but you can also rent rooms or smaller cottages. Dogs were also welcome!nWe will be happy to come back!

The scenic local history park in Hästveda is a living museum that is also used as a hostel in the summer. The park has several buildings from 17th-19th century that have been moved here and preserved. In the various buildings you can see how people lived since the 17th century and onwards. In the Carriage Museum you can see old agricultural tools and carriages, Axel Helm's carpentry workshop and what electrical installations looked like in the past. Upstairs there is an exhibition about the Hästveda Railway and an exhibition about textiles and books. The second part shows how people prepared flax and handled their laundry, upstairs you can see cooperage and other crafts and what a shop looked like in the past. The park has an outdoor stage that is used for concerts and events in the summer. Hästveda Local History Park consists of an area of ​​approximately two hectares between the railway and Lillsjön. The local history association rents from Hässleholm Municipality. In the local history park there is a small exhibition with Sonja Stjärnkvist's stage clothes.

A little gem with a hostel in spring, summer and autumn. Best visited when the local history association has an activity. Exhibition for those interested in trains.
