Beautifully run little museum about the history of the first buildings in Torsby, which were traditional Finnskogs. The estate is run by a few lovely old ladies, whose friendliness and helpfulness can not be emphasized enough. After viewing the many, many different buildings that contain detailed descriptions of life back then, we sat down for a delicious traditional meal of Fläsk och Motti, prepared freshly. It's only available on Sunday, so make sure you plan your visit on the right day, since it was very delicious. Definitely recommend a visit if you are nearby. This is something you make time for in your day.
Unfortunately it is closed on thursday and Friday which is neither mentioned in the Torsby Tourist Guide nor on Google Maps. So we just see a closed gate, this is a pity. Please add opening times on Google Maps
