Treated me like royalty from the start. Had some delays coming into Sweden and the hotel was very understanding and helped me get into my room just a bit after midnight. I got a complimentary upgrade to an apartment, which I thought was really nice, albeit a bit overkill with just me and my partner. The apartment was very nice and felt like I was actually living there. Has enough beds for five people to sleep comfortably. Overall a solid place to stay.
My wife and I were passing through and just needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for one night. Though we did not have a reservation, the very nice lady at the desk was able to set us up. We found the room clean and comfortable, as expected. The breakfast was a nice extra. Street parking is free overnight and being right in the city centre made it easy to get around on foot. Lots of stores, restaurants, and bars nearby. While it is an older building, I found it clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.
Very disappointing experience for the price. Location was great, the bed fine, and everything was clean. But it doesn't make me feel welcome to be greeted by a locked door. The breakfast was okay but if it hadn't been for the excellent fresh bread, I would have called it plain boring. My room was small, and one light didn't work. It was run down. I like worn charm but this was rather unsexy.
Let's make one thing clear - this is an old house turned into a hotel. The red carpet that leads to your room is nicer than the rooms themselves - shower and toilet is small and placed in a wardrobe cabinet. The room has extension leads for electricity use fire hazard. Wall lights have knobs broken off, room is dark because they use the economy bulbs there, which don't do much. Room is literally the worst thing about this hotel. The plus sides are - breakfast was good and the hotel is located in the centre of town. Conclusion - I would not stay at this hotel for the second time, no matter how many plaques of greatness they have on the front wall.
Free night parking in front of hotel. There is a park in front of the hotel and within walking distance to the bus and train station. In the center of the city. Plenty of nearby restaurants and the shopping center is 5 mins walk.nRoom are not equal in size. You may get a small or large one depending on luck. Decent rooms and OK spread for breakfast. There is an elevator. Limited times for check in.
