All was good. Breakfast great. The room we had was clean and spacious, but only one needed to be considered; to clean the floor under the bed since it was so dirty and dusty. Tack
The room i had very bad smell. If youre christen you will find a bibel in the rooms. the location is perfect youre close to everything
Old historic hotel in central location, good access to downtown areas. Parking across street paid. Rooms and comfort were good. Management needs to invest in this hotel to update pretty much everything to acceptable standard. Great breakfast included, well prepared best I've had in a long time in any hotel I've stayed. Staff were helpful and tried to accommodate us with the problems we had. Corner rooms, suites, do not get WiFi signal so as soon as you leave the hallway, coverage drops. Hotel management needs to reconfigure their WiFi relays so all guests can benefit. We tried two rooms, both had problems with the TV and neither would function with Chrome cast, despite being a menu option. Disappointed. Also, if you are there on a Friday, Saturday evening, like we were, prepare to not sleep due to pounding dance clubs next door bass tracks that continue to about 2:00AM.
There was a worrying lack of staff throughout our whole stay - our rooms were not cleaned until late afternoon even then they didn't clean them properly, and more often than not we saw the cleaners gossiping outside the rooms. Although the staff were friendly, there was often no one at the reception, and our sauna booking was even ignored/forgotten by the staff because they ended up going home. The cutlery was dirty and in general the building, whilst beautiful, was old and lacking in modern facilities. A lack of fans and air conditioning meant that it was too hot at night, making it difficult to sleep. There was also a lack of signage - for example we had to open the hotel front door for a group of elderly people who didn't know that they had to use their room key to get inside the hotel itself there was no notice given about this.nConsidering that we paid around 1300 krona per night, this was overpriced and we were disappointed by service. We would definitely not recommend.
Very Bad Management, and RUDE Manager.nnI have booked 2 Rooms for a weekend stay, but due a Covid Case in my Family. I was forced to ask the hotel if I can Amend the booking.nnJessica the Hotel Manager with a rude and aggressive way refused to do any changes and she didn't even care that we have a Covid case and it could contaminate the hotel, which may effect the other guest specially when hotel offers a buffet breakfast.nnI really don't know what Kind of service they have as they don't care about the guests safety and don't even care about their circumstances.
