Hotell Charlottenberg

I stay in hotels a lot for work, even for extended period of times 1 month, but i have to say that this one is suitable for stays less than 1 week.nI have stayed here for 9 nights and overall i must say the experience wasn't the best i have had.nDespite having not the best overall experience, the staff at the reception has been always helpful.nnTHE LOCATION:nIt is situated in good location, there are TESLA charging stations in the parking.nNearby, at 2 minute walk, there is big mall where grocery shopping can be done if neeeded.nIf someone has a NON tesla car, there are many charging stations at 10m walk from the hotel.nnDINING:nBreakfast and buffet is offered inside the hotel, i have never tried it so i can't offer my opinion.nnTHE ROOM:nThe washroom is equipped well with all the necessities, like body wash and soap.nIt has a heated floor.nIt looked very clean and tidy.nThe water pressure in the shower is very good and hot water is provided immediatly without wait, which isn't always guaranteed in all hotels.nnIn the main room, there is a closet corner where clothes can be put and ironing stand with iron is provided.nThe only thing to point out here is that there were just 3 hangers, which can be enough given the amount of space there to fold clothes.nnIt's missing a mini fridge, which is helpful for people staying long period of times.nThis time i stayed only for 9 nights, but if i had to stay longer, the option would be to buy a mini fridge to keep in the room.nnThe socket placement in the room is not good because near the bed there isn't 1 available.nI found 2 sockets hidden behind the bed which were occupied by the side lamps.nI think at least 1 free socket is a must near each side of the bed.nnCLEANING:nThis is the negative point about my stay, because the rooms are cleaned only on request.nUpon requesting a cleaning of the room after 5 nights, the room wasn't cleaned.nI had to do 2 more requests before the room was cleaned and then finally after 7 nights the room was cleaned.nnLAUNDRY:nAgain, for people staying a long time, the hotel does not offer any laundry service, there are not even self service machines.nThere are not ANY self service coin operated machines closeby.nFrom what i read online, in Sweden the coin operated machines are not as common.nnOverall, if it wasn't for the fact that the room cleaning got delayed, the experience was ok.nI would suggest adding a mini fridge to the rooms.

It's a lot to get here, for å reasonable $. Good service , short distanse to the parking, and to a well equipped Mall. When Covid-19 is over, Putin is gone and things get back to normal you can have a jolly good time here. Short way to Norway and Kongsvinger, Magnor. They are known for their handblown glass. Shorts way to Oslo also. Enjoy.

Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. The rooms are very tidy.

The hotel looks very nice, the staff is very friendly and polite. They serv breakfest and some of the best steak for dinner that i have tasted in a long time it is served on warm rocks. The rooms have good size and all rooms seems to have windows that can be opened.nThere are still a few things that i would say could have been better the bathrooms looks a bit dirty and used even though they were clean som they should have been renovated.nThe shower floor filled fast with water from the shower and the floor tiles on the bathroom got very slippery when wet.nThey have free wifi which is a good thing, its just too bad that it is so slow, that you cant use it for anything. The beds were good and big and had two pillows but the bed had a lot of static electricity that made it very uncomfortable to lay in.nEven if there were a few things i didnt like about the hotell most of the experiance where good and i would still come back.

Nightmare. Ants coming out of the shower, the juice is watered down too much, and the beds are average. 2 stars for free WiFi.
