Very nice place. Quiet and calm. Lots of nice things to look at around Lennartsfors. Would love to come back
The scantrack team was super friendly and very well organized. Everything was explained to us and the equipment was handed out very quickly. In no time we were already in the canoe and the unforgettable journey began. It was a wonderful tour and the region is simply fantastic. Thanks to the whole team for this great experience.
I'm sorry but the infrastructure is just bad. It is completely designed for pure profit. Why not set up 5 or 6 wheelbarrows to transport these incredibly heavy bins of food to the canoe. The path through the forest is a complete impudence. Adventure road? You can call it that or simply put, the first chance to seriously injure yourself because the path is more of an obstacle course over roots and mud. No ! Anyone who puts so many canoes in the water and turns it into mass tourism must also have the money and the decency to deal with infrastructure. 30 people in front of a wooden shack called a toilet or shower. Why don't you put up awnings where you can take shelter in case of constant rain. This was the second time we were completely soaked when we were allowed to get onto the canoe after about 3 hours of queuing. The tour was nice but the camp is a disgrace.
We booked a trip with a tour operator that I can't name because of the guidelines.nnWhen we got on the bus from Cologne at the beginning of June with full anticipation, the journey was very long but pleasant. The bus driver moved quickly and drove us safely to our destination in Högland.nArrived there, a nice welcome from Sandra and as our adventure continues, we first arrive, quietly to the base camp about 500 meters where we received our equipment and provisions from the friendly team...nIt would be nice to have a sharp hatchet and a saw that can also cut treesnnRepacking the backpacks into drybags, then the next step was carrying everything down to the jetty, about 200 meters, where we got our canoe. Now our adventure began, on the lake and islands...nnWe paddled leisurely to the first island, there were lots of ants there, but we already had the first pictures with us of the many great impressions...nWe continue with the canoe, discovered a great island, unfortunately reserved, but it wasn't noticeable at first glance and wasn't shown on the water map...nSo let's move onnFound a place and set up camp, tents and hammock, chopped wood and cooked something delicious over the fire from the provisions box.nSat quietly and relaxed by the water in the evening and looked into the distance...nThis went on for 6 days, unfortunately 3 days with rain and wind but we made the best of it...nOn the day of departure the wind was so strong that we set off earlier than planned, 2 canoes with sturdy sticks connected to the catamaran, best idea ever, because only one canoe would not have made any progress because of the waves...nBut we still got wet and shaken well, and with our combined strength we managed the 7 kilometers through the wind... At the camp the team again kindly explained the next steps, cleaning the canoe and carrying equipment and provisions to the base camp...nFirst we set up tents there to dry out and we see a nice employee. Then we change for a breather and pack our backpack. Luckily everything stayed dry...nReturn equipment as well as tents and provisions boxes...nRelaxed waiting for the bus on the large meadow at the outdoor camp.nAs soon as the bus arrived, the long but quick bus ride went back towards Cologne...nnA nice adventurous onenVacation is coming to an end...
Top team, the trip is well organized.nThere was more than enough provisions and the equipment worked very well.
